Nice Job Puja! I love this topic, I feel like I can relate to this study. I believe that any kind of sport or extra activities can improve your mental health. I also think it's very interesting that team sports can improve your mental health more than going to the gym. Sports can bond you with others and create new relationships.

Great job Puja! This is a very interesting topic! I find it very interesting that being a part of a sports team can help your mental health. I completely agree that being a part of a team is much different than exercising by yourself because being on a team helps you to form relationships with with new people.

This is super interesting! My article was on a similar concept on how athletics can shape the brain, so this was really cool to read. I think that exercising alone, like going for a run, is particularly good for relieving stress and refocusing yourself in the short term. Team sports are much better for learning lifelong concepts like teamwork and getting along with teammates under pressure.

This is a very interesting topic, Puja! I have noticed the difference in some people who are on a team sport and doing what they love year round than those who go straight home each day. It is very interesting to hear about the studies and the science behind that idea. I knew exercise is much more beneficial to your health than most know, especially mentally. I think the study highlights that there can be pressure in the act of playing a team sport, but that teammates will always have your back. Great job on bringing to light that teammates are a very good asset in life!

I had no idea that team sports improved metal health. I've played football with (mostly) the same group of people since 3rd grade. In our time we've become great friends so that's clearly good for mental health, but I had no idea that simply playing the sports with people was good for you on its own. I know I'll miss playing football with my friends when I go to college, and I know it'll be tough to find new friends because I've never had to before, but I guess I'll try to join a club sport. This blog post both stressed me out and de-stressed me, because I know that I can always go play team sports to make friends or calm down, but now it's put a lot of pressure on those team sports to help.

This is an amazing topic - I feel like I can really relate to it, as I play sports year-round. I find it so interesting that there are real studies out there that support the fact that sports help mental health. I have believed this for a very long time, as exercising greatly improves my mood and lowers my stress level. I encourage others to try to exercise to help relieve stress and improve mental health, too, as it really does work, just like this article proves. Awesome job, Puja! This is really well-written and gets across your ideas and statistics very well. This is why you need to keep playing basketball!
